The HR Jedi PowerPoint Template and Presentation Design

Overview

This project involved designing a fully branded, reusable PowerPoint template for an HR business. The client’s existing presentation had become corrupted and unusable, creating the need for a reliable, professional solution that could support both immediate and future presentations – particularly for monthly networking events.

The Challenge

The client required more than just a one-off presentation. She needed a flexible, easy-to-use template that reflected her brand, communicated complex information clearly, and could be adapted for different audiences over time. In addition, the visual style needed to align with her existing marketing materials to ensure consistency across all touch points.

Approach

I began by building the template around the client’s established brand identity. This included refining a consistent font system, colour palette, and visual language that would work effectively within PowerPoint while maintaining a polished, professional feel.

To strengthen brand cohesion, I designed the slides to mirror the social media templates I had previously created for her in Canva. This ensured a seamless experience across both digital and presentation platforms. I also incorporated structured layouts and clear content hierarchy, making the slides easy to edit and reuse without compromising design quality.

The Solution

The final deliverable was a versatile slide deck template, complete with a range of pre-designed layouts tailored to different content types – such as key messages, data points, and explanatory sections. The supporting presentation focused on the different types of employees within a workforce, presenting complex HR and employment obligations in a way that was clear, engaging, and visually accessible.

Outcome

The client now has a reliable, on-brand presentation that can be easily adapted for future use. The new template not only resolved the issue of the corrupted deck but also improved the overall quality and consistency of her presentations – supporting more confident delivery at networking events and beyond.
